Colorblind

By Félix Baigés

To the one prior,

colors can be deceiving.

What could be primary,

may become complementary.

To the one prior,

where colors fly high,

sometimes they may drown.

The hue that suppresses the soul.

To the one prior,

you were liberty once.

However,

I am more than just a pink and blue.

To the one prior,

you and I are not the same.

To the one prior,

I no longer recognize your name.
