Help bring young musicians, poets and artists together.

Celebrate MAPS and become a sponsor today!

MAPS is a US 501 (C)(3) non-profit organization. This means your individual donations and foundation grants are tax deductible and you can help us keep the MAPS programs flowing. We humbly remind you that every bit of your generosity helps us maintain the ever-growing organization and we appreciate any amount you can give. Most of all, we appreciate YOU for helping us develop an exciting, important learning program for kids in the face of ever-shrinking arts education opportunities.

Ambassador Sponsor – $500

You can help spread the word about MAPS by spending a day with the students both on stage and in the classroom and learning how MAPS works; you become a MAPS Ambassador. You will get to know the way the poets, songwriters and artists create their work. You will learn about their lives and how they build bridges across life’s many obstacles. Your support can make it possible for us to expand the programming to new schools in new locations.

Visual Storyteller Sponsor – $250

You can help make the story of MAPS students go viral. Each MAPS concert is recorded, showing the poets reading their work, the musicians performing the corresponding compositions and the artwork inspired by the poetry and music; filming these events opens up MAPS students to a broader community of people who may not have been able to attend the concert in person. Your support can help MAPS share the deep mutual respect that is built amongst the students from the urban and rural schools with countless viewers.

Recording and Production Sponsor – $200

You can help the music students capture their songs forever. Recording the MAPS songs involves having the right equipment and engineering to record the different instruments and voices. Your support can make it possible for MAPS to provide studio time to its students to record their songs in a professional studio to add to their portfolio and share with the world.

Transportation Sponsor – $100

You can help make it possible for the students to travel to each other’s schools, across state lines, in order to spend valuable time together building relationships, while creating and sharing life experiences. Your support can help fund the all-important bus and meal costs.

MAPS Poetry and Music Friend – $50

You can help MAPS expand its efforts to bring middle and high school students together from urban and rural settings to create poetry, music and visual art. Your MAPS friendship can make it possible for more students to experience this great program!

Anyone giving $150 or more will receive a rockin’ MAPS T-shirt and a MAPS Poetry/Music Book and anyone giving $250 or more will also be named on the MAPS website and social media as a MAPS supporter.
