Katelyn Milliken (Milner Middle School) – MAPS ~ Music & Poetry Synchronized

Katelyn Milliken has been a music teacher for 10 years and is currently a general music teacher at Milner Middle School in Hartford, Connecticut. Her goal is not only to teach her students the technical aspects of music but also to instill in them a lifelong appreciation of music. Katelyn believes that music has the incredible ability to transcend boundaries and bring people together. She strives to ignite a spark in each student, encouraging them to explore their musical talents and express themselves freely. Katelyn attended the Neag School of Education at University of Connecticut where she received her Bachelor’s in Music Education and Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction.
