Sean Uliasz is the music director at Easthampton High School, where he directs the concert band, chorus, and teaches music technology and rock band. He has a bachelor’s degree in music education from Westfield State University and a master’s degree in music education from Boston University. Sean is also a #1 Billboard smooth jazz charting keyboardist, arranger, composer, and producer. He has performed and worked with some of the best musicians of the contemporary jazz genre, including Blake Aaron, Marcus Anderson, Paula Atherton, Althea Rene, and JJ Sansaverino. In 2016, Sean released his debut EP, “Electrify,” and he is currently in the studio working on his full length upcoming album, “XLR8.” Sean’s single “Magic Hour” featuring Blake Aaron, released in 2020, hit number #1 on three smooth jazz airplay charts, including Billboard, Groove Jazz Music, and Smooth Jazz Network. Additionally, Sean has over 50,000 monthly listeners on Spotify. He has received over 1 million streams of his music on both Spotify and Apple Music. Sean has performed at many venues and jazz festivals, including the Brass City Jazz Festival in Waterbury, Connecticut, MGM Springfield, Foxwoods, Mohegan Sun, and Carnegie Hall in New York City.
