Ilana Morris is an active vocalist in the Western Massachusetts and greater Northeast music scene.  She has her Bachelor of Art degree with a focus on Social Justice as an expression through music and a minor in Jazz Voice from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, MA. She is also a PVPA graduate. She discovered her love for singing at the early age of four and her love for Social Justice in high school. As a member of  the touring band, Wurliday, she has traveled all over the Northeast performing. Hailing from Albany, NY, Wurliday brings together some of the most exciting, dynamic musicians in the live music scene for a lively injection of soul-funk goodness, direct to your ears. MAPS holds a special place in Ilana’s heart because it was one of the very first classes she took at PVPA. She later went on to teach the course in 2019. Ilana currently works as the Program Officer for MAPS.
